In recent
decades people of most religions have
become less judgmental and more accepting
of each other than ever before. This is
heartening! However, the greatest
resourcefulness we can have with each
other is in obtaining an increasing
awareness that we need not be critical of
our judgments, but simply interested in
seeing everyone for who they most truly
are. Assessing blame upon others or
ourselves is not productive. An attitude
of loving everyone cancels out the need
to prove that someone or some several
persons are right and others are wrong. Transcending
Reactions does this. |
To see the good in
another is to acknowledge that whoever we are and
however we carry out our activities does not make
either us or others better persons. To dissolve
all prejudices and return good to others
regardless of what they do is the qualifier for
developing higher character everywhere on earth.
